At St Paul’s Shadwell we believe in transforming communities and loving our neighbour. We have partnered with London Borough of Tower Hamlets, The Mercer’s Company, and London Marathon Charitable Trust to bless our community with an outdoor gym on Shadwell Basin. In 2022 we partnered with London Marathon Charitable Trust to run a whole year of free fitness classes and we have even more planned throughout 2023-24!

Monday Morning 6.30am – 7.30am

Start your week well with an awesome free fitness class in a beautiful location! We start with a 15 minute follow along mobility sequence, then complete 2 circuits of 12 workout stations, each station is designed to be appropriate for any level of fitness. Our Monday classes are upper-body and core focused. We finish with a 5 minute cool down. 

Tuesday Exercise to Music 12.15pm – 1.00pm

What could be better than exercise that is so fun, it doesn’t even feel like exercise? Our trainer will guide you through a workout class designed to move your whole body, get your heart rate up, and you might even improve your rhythm and balance too!


Tuesday Evening 6.15pm – 7.15pm

Our Tuesday class starts with a 15 minute follow-along mobility flow before a ‘buddy workout’. You’ll be paired with another class member and work together through 6 stations, swapping exercises as you go! Every station has options that are appropriate for all fitness levels. This is an awesome and encouraging way to complete a great full body and cardio workout.


Our Tuesday class is delivered in partnership with TGO Activate (www.tgo-activate.com).

Friday Morning 6.30am – 7.30am

Finish the work week strong with our Friday morning class; 15-minutes of full body mobility, followed by a lower body focused interval workout during which you’ll work around exercise stations designed for all fitness levels. Our Friday morning fitness class is delivered in partnership with TGO Activate (www.tgo-activate.com). 


Friday Mobility Classes

12.15pm – 13.00pm & 13.15pm - 14.00pm

Our mobility Classes are designed to help you to move better. These are guided classes; our trainer will lead you in movement patterns designed to increase your range of motion, which can help you move with move confidence, comfort, and less pain.
