Father’s Football

Thursday & Saturday mornings

We connect with local, mostly Bengali dads through playing football on Thursday and Saturday mornings. All ages and all levels of fitness welcome.

Craft
Club

Thursday evenings, fortnightly 7-9pm

Why not follow @spscraftclub for updates…

Bring your own project or join in with our 'craft of the night'. Whether you sew, quilt, paint or macramé your way through the evening, it’s the perfect opportunity to get creative and meet other makers.

Homemade cookies, cakes or brownies are always served along with tea, coffee and a glass of wine to get the creative juices flowing!

Run Club

Whether you’re training for a 10K or just trying to get active you’re welcome to join us. We run through Shadwell, Wapping, Tower Bridge or Canary Wharf.

Get in touch and find out when and where we’re meeting. Usually mornings between 7-8am in Wapping.

Community Choir

Sing, sing, sing. Every Thursday evening

Sing Tower Hamlets is a very popular and independent community choir that is led by the hugely talented Leanne Sedin.

The choir meets on Thursday nights in the church between 7.00-9.00pm and performs regularly throughout the year. No auditions, no experience needed, just come along and join us as we make a joyful noise in the heart of east London!

Community Gardens

Run monthly during spring and summer

Do you love gardening? Love all types of flowers and vegetables? Well you’ve come to the right place! We are so blessed to have some amazing community gardens here at St Paul’s Shadwell.

If you would like to be part of the team who grow and care for the gardens, you are so welcome to join in the fun!

We are passionate about gardening and aim to connect with the people of Shadwell across different social, cultural and religious boundaries. All produce we donate to our community. For more information please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.

DIY Days

Love power tools? Fancy yourself as a bit of a painter? Or you just want to help out and help us all make the most of the incredible church site that God has blessed us with.

Join us as we get stuff done around the site and have loads of fun at the same time! (we also have a lot of BBQs!!)

Night
Shelter

During the winter months

A shelter for vulnerable men and women, run for seven months of the year in partnership with other local churches.

Over the coldest months we provide a safe space for our guests to receive a hot dinner and breakfast, a warm bed for the night and an opportunity to receive health care and resettlement help from professionals.

Tower Tots

Every Wednesday and Thursday morning

Enjoy coffee and a chat while your children play. Wednesdays and Thursdays in term time 9:30 - 11am in the church.

Holiday Club

Run during half term and summer holidays

Adventure for children aged 4-9 years. Days packed with Bible stories, crafts, games, food & fun. Based at the church and grounds.

The holiday clubs are run for all local children of all backgrounds. For more information please get in touch.

London Citizens

We’re a member of Tower Hamlets’ Citizens, an alliance of churches, mosques, trade unions, schools and universities. Citizens organises communities to act together for social justice and gives a voice to local people on issues that matter.

Crossroad Counselling

We support Crossroads, an organisation providing professional counselling for those on a low income in Tower Hamlets. You are invited to support their work; helping those in need of long-term, individual therapy who ordinarily cannot afford it.
