Welcome to The Marriage Course Online
The Marriage Course is a series of seven sessions, designed to help couples invest in their relationship and build a strong marriage.
Many couples are now working more from home and finding themsleves together more, sometimes 24-7! Most of us are discovering new things about ourselves and our partner because of this routine. This may well bring new challenges, on top of the usual challenges in a healthy marriage. But if we face these together and talk about how we are going to over come them together they can become amazing opportunities for growth in our relationship. There has never been a better time to invest in your marriage together.
How does it work online?
The course runs exactly as it would be if you were attending in person, except that you will be able to do so from the comfort of your own home - where you can replicate your own date night:
Each session lasts for 1 hour 55 minutes, half of which will be for your conversations.
The films will be available online and you will be given access when you register for the course.
Don’t forget the candles, snacks, drinks, older kids in another room and the younger ones in bed. Try to make it feel as special as possible.
When does it start?
You can begin the course whenever you like, and it will run for 7 consecutive weeks.
Each term we encourage couples to begin a new course around the same as others. While it is a course that you work through privately with your partner there is encouragement to be found knowning that many of us at church will all be making this journey together.
What happens when we sign up?
Once you register, we will send you the link for you to connect to the online course.
We will also asign you a support couple who will be happy for you contact them, but only if you would like to, for further support or simply to chat and or to pray.
We will be running the course free of charge. The only cost you will incur is purchasing two course journals - you will need one each - and these can be bought from The Alpha Shop or CLC.
