Last year, we invited every member of SPS to take part in our Harbour of Hope campaign to strengthen and sustain the ministry of our church. Through your incredible generosity, we were able to do just that. Thank you.
Our vision remains the same: to make disciples, transform communities, and plant churches. As we look ahead, we sense that God says GROW!
To do that, we feel called to invest, and prepare for all that lies ahead. We are excited about what He is doing among us, and we'd love you to be part of it.
This year, we invite you once again to prayerfully consider the part you might play in helping SPS continue to be a Harbour of Hope - a place where people find welcome and belonging, are equipped for God's purposes, and are sent out to share His love with our world.
We are looking to raise £35,000.

For generations, SPS has been a Harbour of Hope where faith, community, and hope come alive. But a harbour is not only a place of refuge - it's also a place of launching. Your giving helps people take their first steps of faith, enables ministries to flourish, equips leaders for the future, and creates space for people to encounter Jesus' transforming love.
Together, we can invest in the next chapter of God's story at SPS and help even more people find hope, belonging, and purpose in Him.

Since March 2025:
200 families have been registered
An average of 2–5 new families sign up each week.
At least 10 families have become regular Tower Tots attendees.

Target: £5000
Roots (our weekly youth group for year 7 +) provides somewhere for our young people to invite friends, hang out, learn more about God and currently reaches 15–20 young people each week.

Partnering with GrowTH, and other local churches, we host a night shelter each winter.
Over the season the shelter supported 140 guests with an extraordinary 57% finding more permanent accommodation.

Our weekly stay-and-play sessions engage with approximately 160 families each month.
Through these we’ve seen people come to Alpha, attend church and get baptised.

We run multiple residentials a year for churches across Tower Hamlets.
Over 30 youth and 10 children joined us in the last year to encounter God during time away especially for them.

Community events and Parties are part of our core values here at SPS.
Includes: Pancake Parties, Easter events, Garden Parties, Bonfire Socials, Marathon Sunday and Christmas events.
Over the year, we open our doors to over 4000 people. Celebration and hospitality are at the heart of how we build God’s kingdom.

We currently run 3 midweek groups for young people.
Through bible study, friendships and fun, our young people learn what it is to follow Jesus every day.

Through recent Alpha courses we’ve seen whole families start following Jesus and lives turned around.
In the coming months, we want to run both daytime and evening Alphas to help more people explore faith.

Church Planting is one of the 3 pillars of church life at SPS, so we are always seeking to support new Ministry Initiatives and Church Plants.
